CAUTION: New “Browser in Browser” Phishing Scheme LOOKS Legit But It’s NOT!

The scammers begin by presenting you with a familiar “Continue with…” screen. Usually this is a convenient way to set up a new account without creating a new password. If it’s a Phishing site you would be giving the scammers the login to one of your most important accounts.

Beware this new scheme that has a sign in page that LOOKS like a legitimate URL for Google, Apple, Facebook, etc. Be sure to examine the URL BEHIND the pop-up before “signing in”. If you are not 100% sure you’re safe, use the Continue with Email option and use a UNIQUE password, as this would be giving scammers the least amount of info.
