TURN OFF “Find My Phone” BEFORE you leave home. Repairs with Apple cannot be submitted with this feature turned on.

Furthermore, Apple’s new “Stolen Device Protection” will impose a one hour security delay before you can turn the “Find My” feature off if you are not in a familiar location.
