By request from our Asheville customers a series of four Adobe Photoshop classes – taught and developed by da’ Irish Guy – Gary Crossey; who comes with more than 15 years of experience. Garyis the founder and chairman for the official Asheville Adobe User Group and an everyday user of Adobe Photoshop.
Four Classes for Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop Class – Level 1
Learn Photoshop quickly with hands on projects. Taught with Adobe Photoshop CS5, the course covers Photoshop’s rudimentary page layout tools and may be applied to previous versions of Photoshop. Class lesson will cover accessing Photoshop tools and palettes, effective document set-up, image resolutions and how to save and export digital images for use on the web and in print. Learn how to successfully use layers in Photoshop. One-Day Intensive classes are designed for experienced computer users; concepts are presented in an accelerated format.

Unlock the mystery of combining type and images in Adobe Photoshop CS5, while Exploring Photoshop typesetting capabilities and image modification tools. With hands on projects and real world examples, learn how to quickly control type with appealing special effects and typesetting tools. Create complex image selections; make common photo corrections and image touch-ups. One-Day Intensive classes are designed for experienced computer users; concepts are presented in an accelerated format. With a concentration on using filters and actions within Photoshop, and the best practices for creating masks, styles and Industry standard color correction. A class created for design professionals who depend upon Adobe Photoshop page-layout software. The class has a focus on time-saving tips and techniques. Learn effective methods for Red Eye reduction, Teeth whiting, advanced image retouching and image restoration. Lessons are taught with hands on projects and real world examples. One-Day Intensive classes are designed for experienced computer users; concepts are presented in an accelerated format. At a minimum, students will need basic Photoshop skills equal to those gained in Photoshop Level 3.
