Plan to see a few Apple iPad app demos by me (Gary Crossey: Dean of Education) – I plan to showcase the power iMovie movie making app.

I have really exciting news to report about the future of stylus for the iPad. The Pogo stylus will change how you think about drawing on the iPad. Test drive the Pogo Stylus on Wednesday night. 

Also, in my presentation, I will feature some impressive business apps, that you can also be adapted for personal use. For my gardening friends, I have a special gardening app that works like a journal to record your flowers, track vegetable harvest times, document your own garden, or pull from the apps vast image and information library.

Asheville IPAD Social

Charlotte Street Computers hosted another successful IPAD Asheville Social, serving pizza, beers, soft drinks and a mixture of demos and quick fire trick. The Asheville IPAD Social was a great way to reconnect with business contacts and learn about some of the new apps and applications for the IPAD -

Tom Quinlan presented an incredible “How to best utilize your iPAD” demo that most everyone eagerly followed the step-by-step instructions. It is easy to realize why hundreds of students in Asheville have attended Tom’s classes.

Charlotte Street Computers PC Team Leader;  Josh Benson shared with me his favorite Bar Tending app – “ iBartender , and it is a $1 in the app store”.

The iBartender app that not only provides the most popular drink recipes, but will actually match what ingredients you have in stock for drink recipes.  Certainly a necessary for any summer pool party.

GarageBand was also in full effect, with Steven Brooks sharing samples from his latest music project. We look forward to hearing the finished tune.

Charlotte Street Computers carry a full line of iPAD accessories, including the very cool Keyboard Docking Station and the Bluetooth Keyboard – expanding the IPAD into an effective power house of a machine and not just for entertainment.
